Also, the ambiguity of her behavior. Still stuck on that. I reprimanded myself. Val had said to just be nice. I was being as nice as I could possibly be, aside from the kiss, but I wasn’t getting anywhere. Day one down and three to go.
So I’d managed to kiss her. Honestly, this wasn’t our first kiss. The first kiss had happened as a sort of surprise, just like the latest one.
